SUMMER POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The Hunter-Clyde Watershed Group is looking for people to work in watershed restoration this summer.
We have four positions available:
Supervisor
The ideal candidate will be a third or fourth year undergraduate student of Biology or a related subject, someone who is self-motivated, someone who can manage a team of three workers and is looking for some relevant practical experience. Knowledge of stream enhancement work would be an advantage. This position is only open to a returning student of age 31 years or less. You must have your own vehicle to transport the work-crew during the day, mileage is paid. The rate of pay is $12 per hour for 10 weeks.
Watershed Enhancement Workers
We are looking for three people to work in stream restoration including tree planting, debris clearing, brush mat construction and other duties. You must be 16 to 29 years old. Two of these positions are only open to returning students. The rate of pay is $10 per hour for 8 weeks.
Employees must arrange their own transportation to and from the worksite, which will be in Hunter River and the surrounding area.
